Can your local authority pass our Safe and Sound  test?

All local authorities have been asked by the Government to do three things for young runaways. These are:
  • To have a named manager responsible for young runaways

  • To have a plan in place for young runaways

  • To have an agreement to evaluate that plan

If your local authority has all three in place then they’ve passed our Safe and Sound test. To find out if they have, just follow three simple steps.

It won’t take long. A child runs away from home every four minutes. You can do something to help them in two.

Act now – can your local authority pass our Safe and Sound test?
